Nicole Kidman just opened up about her parenting style—and by the sounds of things, she's just as inspiring off the screen as she is on. In her cover interview with Allure, the Babygirl actress offered a glimpse into her life with the two teenage daughters she shares with husband Keith Urban. When asked if she liked who she was as a mother, Kidman replied, "I do, actually. Yeah, I'm very close to both my girls."
She went on to describe her approach to parenting Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 14. "I sit on their beds and discuss the most intimate things; I get to be their guide," she said. "If they want to tell me to be quiet, they can. I'm able to apologize to them. I'm able to stand up to them. I very much like the relationship we have. It's nice to be able to say that."

Apparently, both Sunday and Faith frequently raid Kidman's closet. "I've saved all the red carpet dresses. I have them all beautifully boxed. They're museum pieces," she explained to W magazine. However, the loaning only goes one way. "They raid my wardrobe all the time I'm like, 'Okay, what's mine is yours.' But I don't raid their closet, even though I'm like, 'Oh, that's cute.' But I'm not allowed to take anything. It's a one-way exchange."
Sunday has even begun to forge a career in modeling; she made her runway debut at the Miu Miu show in Paris last October before walking the runway at Paris Fashion Week this March.

Kidman recently made a return to the Cannes Film Festival where she was honored for her dedication to working with female directors. She has worked with 27 women directors in the eight years since her last appearance at the festival.
