Prince Louis Is Going Viral Again for His Latest Trooping the Colour Appearance
Over the past few years, the biggest royal scene-stealer has become none other than seven-year-old Prince Louis, whose silly faces and comical expressions have gone viral on numerous occasions. Some have even deemed him “The Prince of Faces.”
Now, after a few years of taking part in royal engagements, Louis has become a little more tame on the public stage. However, he still managed to sneak in a few meme-able moments when he appeared at the 2025 Trooping the Colour festivities this past weekend.

Perhaps the young royal has gotten clued in to his internet stardom, because when the royal family arrived to the Buckingham Palace balcony on Saturday morning, Louis couldn’t stop waving to the many crowds gathered down below, as if they were all there to see him (and many probably were).
In one viral clip, his older brother George was seen telling him to stop, and when the family went to leave, Louis continued waving to the crowds until he was completely out the door. Meanwhile, the seven-year-old was also seen emulating the actions of his grandfather, King Charles III, as he kept looking back at the monarch and repeating his moves. Clearly, Louis is ready for his crown.

Earlier in the day, the young royal was equally hilarious when the family rode in the official procession. In between smiling and waving to the crowds, Louis took a break at one point to bury his face entirely in his hands—a mood many of us can probably relate to. Then, he gave a few silly expressions that even managed to get his mom and siblings giggling.
