The Gist
- Kate Middleton stepped out at Wimbledon over the weekend with a new engagement ring stack.
- While the princess has worn each ring individually, it was the first time she has ever worn the combination together.
- Her daughter, Princess Charlotte, also wore some significant jewelry during the tennis championship.
Kate Middleton has one of the most famous and recognizable engagement rings in the world. Partly, because her stunning sapphire and diamond oval ring previously belonged to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana. Middleton has been known to occasionally step out sans ring, wear a simpler ring, or change up her stack with new additions, but over the weekend, Middleton sported a never-before-seen engagement ring stack noticed by eagle-eyed jewelry and royal fans.

During her first appearance at Wimbledon 2025 on Saturday, July 12, Middleton took a page out of her sister-in-law Meghan Markle's book and wore four very meaningful pieces together to create a one-of-a-kind ring stack. First, she wore her gold wedding band underneath her famed oval sapphire and diamond halo engagement ring. Next, she followed that up with an eternity band from Prince William, believed to contain sapphires, which she has worn during many appearances in lieu of her engagement ring. Saturday's jewelry combination, however, marks the first time she's ever worn the two together, according to People.

She finished off the collection with a newer piece that she first wore last year in a video congratulating Team Britain during the Paris Olympics, and later donned during the video marking the end of her chemotherapy treatment.

Although Middleton attended Wimbledon alone on Saturday, she was later joined by her husband, Prince William, and two of her kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, during Sunday's Gentleman's Singles Final. Middleton wasn't the only one to be wearing meaningful jewelry this weekend. Her daughter Princess Charlotte, who also rocked her first manicure, showed off a special Pandora charm bracelet that had a special nod to her older brother.

One of the dainty pendants hanging off the bracelet appeared to be Nala from Disney's The Lion King, which also happens to be one of her brother's favorite movies.
In 2017, Prince William revealed that his then 4-year-old son "quite likes The Lion King." "We've watched that a few times," he told a young fan at the time.
