Dirty Blonde Performances at Sangre de Cristo Arts Center

210 N. Santa Fe Ave. | 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22 and again 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 | Dirty Blonde is equal parts dance-theater, autobiography, and cultural critique. The show is ideal for audiences craving meaningful, edge-pushing work that sparks conversation. An exhibit from the Center for Arts Therapies & Creative Healing (C.A.T.C.H) Youth project, an art therapy program for youth, will be opening. In addition, Juniper Southern Colorado plans a short presentation after the show to let people know how they can help survivors in the community. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Professional Rodeo and Country Music at the Colorado State Fair

1001 Beulah Ave. | 7 p.m. Aug. 22 and 23 and 5 p.m. Aug 24 | Colorado State Fair concerts kick off with three nights of Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Rodeos and country music at the Big R Arena. Country music artist Cooper Alan, with songs like his 2024 single "Feel Like Hell," will perform after the 7 p.m. rodeo on Aug. 22. Lee Brice will belt out his 2024 single "Drinking Buddies," and more hits after the 7 p.m. rodeo on Aug. 23. Clay Walker will perform songs like his 2021 single, "Need a Bar Sometimes," after the 5 p.m. rodeo on Aug. 24. Pool Night at The Ethos

Iglesias is one of the highest-grossing touring comedians of all time and is a state fair favorite in Pueblo. Polyam Meet-Up and Goth Yoga events at The Ethos

615 E. Mesa Ave. | 6-8 p.m. for the meet up and 8-9 p.m. for yoga | The polyamorous meet up is held the last Wednesday of every month. All polycules and poly singles are welcome to mingle with like-minded folk, play a board game, or just chat over a tasty beverage. This is a free event for ages 18 and older. Silent Book Club and Cult Classic Movie Night Events at The Ethos

This is a free, monthly event. This month's Cult Classic Movie is a 1985 Jonathan Lynn masterpiece based on a popular board game. It stars Tim Curry, in peak form, as Wadsworth the butler. It is a wild who-done-it romp from the library, to the study, to the kitchen.

My Generation Tour at Colorado State Fair

1001 Beulah | 7 p.m. | The "My Generation Tour" starring The Lovin’ Spoonful, Gary Lewis & the Playboys, and The Hollies Greatest Hits, with Terry Sylvester, is set to take the stage at the events center. Song of Pueblo Performance at Sangre de Cristo Arts Center
