Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has named the one player he would love the Blues to sign in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The west Londoners have been linked to a number of stars as Enzo Maresca looks to bring in some fresh faces at the end of the season.
It is believed that Chelsea are keen to recruit a new striker and Fernandez and wants his club to dip into the La Liga market to sign Julian Alvarez.
Fernandez has a close relationship with fellow Argentina international Alvarez with the duo having known each other since their River Plate days.

Atletico Madrid splashed out an eye-watering £81.5m to sign Alvarez and he’s conjured up a total of 29 goals and six assists in 53 games to date.
Fernandez, asked in a Gaston Edul interview which of his international teammates he’d most like Chelsea to sign this summer, said: ‘Julian.

‘I talk to Julian often, even more so now. We’ve shared youth teams, the reserve team, the national team, River Plate.
‘There is no longer any discussion about what a great player he is, and he has proven it with his goals.’
Fernandez himself has been linked with an exit this summer – with Real Madrid thought to be keen on a move – but he is believed to be settled at Stamford Bridge.

The 24-year-old has, however, admitted that he ‘really likes’ the Spanish league – meaning he could be open to a switch sometime in the future.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are keeping tabs on a number of forwards this summer – including Victor Osimhen – who has just turned down an offer to join Juventus.
The Blues are also thought to be keen on Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap, who has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs.
Harry Redknapp recently backed the Blues to beat Manchester United and Arsenal in the race to sign Delap.
‘I’ve heard that Chelsea are quite hot on Liam Delap – I could see him going to Stamford Bridge this summer,’ Redknapp told BetVictor.
‘I also wonder if Arsenal would take a chance on him too because they’re also looking for a striker – he could definitely be worth a gamble.
‘I would say Delap is an upgrade on Nicolas Jackson if Chelsea were to move for him. Jackson has shown flashes this season but hasn’t been at his best since coming back from injury.
‘Signing Delap would at least give Chelsea that option of switching it round if things aren’t going well for them in games.’
