Princess Kate Is a Dream in Head-to-Toe Dior for Official France State Visit
Dior’s New Look just got its modern royal spin, courtesy of Princess Catherine. The Princess of Wales stepped out in the French fashion house’s signature uniform, in a romantic pale pink, for the official France state visit.
Alongside husband Prince William, King Charles III, and Queen Camilla, Kate arrived at the RAF Northolt to welcome French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, to the United Kingdom.

Kate made a meaningful statement by tapping Dior, a jewel of French fashion, for the engagement. Up top, she wore a fitted wool and silk blazer inspired by Christian Dior’s design from 1947 but reimagined by Maria Grazia Chiuri in 2024. The princess styled the jacket with a pleated tutu-like skirt in the same rosy hue, adorned with a mesh overlay.

Kate completed her new New Look with beige suede pumps, a straw hat with a baby-pink ribbon by Jess Collett, pearl drop earrings that once belonged to Princess Diana (a beloved Dior muse after whom the brand’s iconic Lady Dior bag was named), and a three-strand pearl necklace from Queen Elizabeth II’s collection. She additionally wore her sapphire-and-diamond engagement ring from William, which also belonged to the late Diana.
Kate’s hair was down in silky waves.

William was classic in a blue suit, white shirt, and navy tie with a red and white dot print. Charles also wore a blue suit and tie, and Camilla opted for a bright-green midi dress with a matching hat, which she styled with beige pumps and a silver clutch bag.
