Princess Kate Pairs Her Sharp Olive Suit With These Very Meaningful Accessories
Princess Catherine brought out a sharp, yet romantic look for a visit to the British Fashion Council in central London today.
The Princess of Wales toured the studio before taking the stage to present the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design to local, sustainable designer Patrick McDowell. The prize celebrates young British creatives that are positively impacting the United Kingdom’s fashion industry.

For the occasion, Kate was lovely in an olive-green suit from Victoria Beckham. It was composed of a sleek double-breasted blazer with tortoiseshell buttons (which retails for $1,250), and a high-waisted pants with workwear-inspired pockets and a precise pleat down each leg (shop them here for $750).

She wore the suit with a breezy white top with ruffles all down the middle, the sleeves of which peeked out from the wrists, under her blazer.
Kate completed the elegant springtime ensemble with tan pointed-toe heels and a very meaningful pair of earrings: the diamond and pearl drop earrings that once belonged to Queen Elizabeth II.

The pearls were gifted to the late queen in 1947 as a wedding gift from the ruler of Bahrain. Kate has worn the stunning pieces several times before, including for Remembrance Day in 2024.

This time around, Kate’s decision to wear the earrings is understandable, as the princess wanted to honor the late monarch (who passed away in 2022) as she presented an award in her name.
