Garnacho wants Premier League stay

A potential reunion between Alejandro Garnacho and Erik ten Hag looks unlikely, if fresh reports are to be believed.

Whilst the winger's looks set to leave Manchester United this summer, it's understood that his priority is to stay in Premier League despite interest from Bayer Leverkusen - whom are now managed by ten Hag.

A deal with Leverkusen would has not been ruled out completely, but it would be complicated as staying in England is the Argentine's first choice.

Mbeumo delivers Frank verdict

Bryan Mbeumo has said that he is certain Thomas Frank will do well at Tottenham.

Mbeumo’s comments are rather interesting considering he is being linked with a move to Tottenham where he would be reunited with Frank.

Amid Spurs’ plan to rival Manchester United for a £70m deal this summer, the Cameroon international says he accepts there will be speculation regarding his future.

Bid rejected

Leyton Orient have rejected a £1.5million bid from Charlton for Ethan Galbraith.

Galbraith starred for Orient in League One last season and is attracting interest from several Championship sides, with at least three other clubs expected to bid for the 24-year-old this week.

Charlton are targeting Galbraith ahead of their return to the Championship next season, having just tied down manager Nathan Jones to a new five-year contract.

Orient are reluctant to lose any of the key players of their team that lost in the League One play-off final to Charlton at Wembley last month.

But the east London club are braced for more offers for Galbraith.

Tottenham weigh up Branthwaite approach

Tottenham are weighing up an approach for Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite.

This is according to the Mail who claim Spurs' interest, which could be formalised as soon as this week, comes despite the Toffees telling suitors that Branthwaite is not for sale this summer.

Still, Tottenham are expected to test the waters.

That said, David Moyes wants Branthwaite to stay in a bid to keep the core of his defence together when Everton make the transition from Goodison Park to their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.

Arsenal back in for Watkins

Arsenal are still undecided on their striker options and have not ruled out a move for Aston Villa star Ollie Watkins.

The Gunners attempted to sign Watkins during the January transfer window, but a deal never materialised as Jhon Duran ended up leaving Villa Park for Saudi Arabia.

According to reports, Arsenal feel the price for Viktor Gyokeres is too high and believe they have cheaper options in Watkins and Benjamin Sesko.

A development in the future of Victor Gyokeres!

According to Corriere dello Sport, Juventus are planning to take advantage of the uncertainty surrounding the striker's future by hijacking a potential move to Arsenal or Manchester United and bring him to Turin instead.

It is claimed that after talks with Gyokeres’ representatives the Serie A giants indicated they are ready to draw up a contract worth £11m-a-year.

Manchester United have made contact for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike, according to Sky Germany.

Chelsea and Liverpool are both interested in the player’s services, and the Blues came close to securing his services ahead of the Club World Cup but failed to reach an agreement.

Interest in Jhon Duran

Napoli and Fenerbahce have made bids for Jhon Duran.

That’s according to reports in Turkey, that suggest that the former Aston Villa striker could depart the Saudi Pro League just five months into his spell in the Middle East.

Duran joined Al-Nassr in January 2025, and has played 13 times in the SPL, scoring eight goals.

Leeds make first signing

Leeds United have made a first addition to their squad since their promotion back to the Premier League.

The Whites have signed Lukas Nmecha, the German striker, whose contract had just expired at Wolfsburg.

Nmecha came through the ranks at Manchester City, and also spent time on loan at Preston North End and Middlesbrough before he joined Wolfsburg, where he has made 63 appearances, scoring 16 goals.

Charlton target Galbraith

Charlton have identified Leyton Orient’s Ethan Galbraith as a transfer target.

The Addicks, who beat Orient in the League One play-off final at Wembley to seal a long-awaited return to the Championship, have had a bid for the former Manchester United academy product rejected by their east London rivals.

Sky Sports report that Nathan Jones’ side have tabled a £1.3million bid, which Orient swiftly turned down.

Alejandro Garnacho wants to stay in the Premier League if he leaves Manchester United.

The Argentine is likely to depart Old Trafford this summer after a falling out with manager Ruben Amorim, who told him to find himself a new club.

Fabrizio Romano reports that although Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, who are managed by Garnacho’s former United manager Erik ten Hag, have shown an interest, Garnacho’s preference would be to stay in the English top flight.

Inter Milan are pressing ahead with plans to sign Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United, according to fresh reports in Italy.

Gazzetta dello Sport say United want at least £38million for the striker this summer and that Inter may need to get creative to meet that asking price.

The report says Inter's budget falls short of United's valuation.

Ter Stegen set for Turkey move

Barcelona shot stopper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has reportedly agreed personal terms with Galatasaray ahead of a potential summer move.

The German fell out of favour at Barcelona this summer as he struggled with injury. Currently their longest serving player, now with 11 years at the Camp Nou, he endured a tough campaign as Barcelona won the domestic double last season.

The deal could be permanent or temporary. Reports from Turkish outlet Fanatik suggest the move will be permanent and worth only a nominal fee, while Spanish publication SPORT say it is more likely to be a loan with an option to buy.

Liverpool look to boost transfer kitty with brace of sales

Liverpool are prepared to sell off Federico Chiesa and Darwin Nunez in order to fund a raft of new signings this summer.

Both are thought to be close to leaving the club, with Napoli emerging as a potential destination for the pair.

The Reds are hoping to recoup £90m for the pair.

Standard Sport earlier reported that they wanted a minimum of £59m for the club-record signing Nunez, though he will soon lose that title upon the arrival of Florian Wirtz.

Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Chiesa hopes to play regular first-team football next season after struggling to impress Arne Slot in his solitary campaign at Anfield.

Man United are said to be considering their options on the wing as Bryan Mbeumo looks set to be reunited with Thomas Frank at Tottenham Hotspur.

ESPN report they will now look to take on Crystal Palace talisman Ebere Eze or Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo.

Neither man will be cheap - both are expected to be worth a similar fee to Mbeumo, in the region of £60m.

They will face a stiff challenge to pry Eze away from Crystal Palace ahead of their Europa League debut, though Semenyo may be more willing to leave the Cherries.

Fulham and Everton to tussle for Bundesliga man

Fulham and Everton are set to battle it out for Anthony Caci.

Currently of Mainz, the full-back is thought to be ‘available for a bargain fee’ this summer of around £8.5m.

Both sides have been monitoring the player for some time, though Everton have reportedly named him a key target.

Fulham could have a head start, however, having held talks regarding his future in January.

The Frenchman, 27, appeared for Les Bleus at the 2021 Olympics and is also eligible to represent the Albanian national side. He is a graduate of Strasbourg’s academy and made his senior debut there in 2016 before joining Mainz in 2022.

Arsenal look to poach Chelsea target

Arsenal are set to hijack Chelsea’s stalled negotiations for Ajax defender Jorrel Hato.

The Blues are ‘very interested’ in taking the Dutchman on, with a deal expected to be worth around £40m, but negotiations slowed as they turned their attention to the Club World Cup.

The Gunners have stormed into the lead for Hato’s signature this week, holding ‘positive talks’ with his representatives. Given their long-standing interest over the past two years, they do not expect personal terms to pose an issue. They are set to propose a six-year contract.

That is according to TeamTalk, who also report that Liverpool and Newcastle could step in.

Hato is contracted to Ajax through 2028 after signing an extension in October 2024. He seems content to stay in Amsterdam, too, saying yesterday that “Ajax is home for me. I just feel at home here. I still have plenty of time.”

European clubs circle Brighton star

Various European clubs are thought to be interested in taking on Brighton’s Julio Enciso.

The 21-year-old Paraguayan spent last season on loan at Ipswich Town, scoring twice in 13 Premier League appearances as he struggled with injury.

He could now look for a fresh start away from the South Coast, with several sides said to be interested.

Among them are Porto and Inter Milan, who are known to be long-term fans of his work. Two unnamed La Liga sides are also reported by TeamTalk to be linked.

After a difficult campaign, the player is still thought to have considerable long-term potential.

Galatasaray 'optimistic' for Osimhen

Galatasaray are thought to be optimistic they can complete a deal for Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian striker spent last season on loan there, scoring 26 goals and assisting five in 30 Super Lig appearances.

The Turkish giants have offered him a salary of as much as £17m, with a £63.8m release clause.

He had also courted interest from Al Hilal this summer, while Manchester United are also thought to hold an interest.

Bournemouth man set for Ligue 1 switch

Bournemouth defender Illia Zabarnyi has agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Should a transfer be agreed, he would sign a five-year contract.

The two clubs are continuing to negotiate a deal, with no agreement yet reached.

His exit would be the latest in the Bournemouth defensive exodus, after Dean Huijsen moved to Real Madrid and Milos Kerkez looks set to join Liverpool.

AC Milan target former Arsenal man

Granit Xhaka has become the subject of transfer interest from AC Milan.

The Switzerland international traded N5 for Bayer Leverkusen in 2023, helping them to a domestic double in 2023-24.

He could now be poached by AC Milan, though. While he is not pushing for a move away from the Bundesliga, Milan are thought to be one of the clubs he would consider, so say Sky Germany.

Arsenal 'freeze' Gyokeres pursuit

Some big news coming out of Portugal on Arsenal’s interest in Viktor Gyokeres, with Record saying the Gunners have decided to “freeze” their pursuit of the Sporting striker.

There were reports in Portugal yesterday that Arsenal were preparing a new bid in excess of £60million for Gyokeres.

But Record say Arsenal are “fed up with Sporting's demands”.

Sporting are said to want almost £70m for Gyokeres and Arsenal are set to instead pursue other targets, with talks ongoing over RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko.

Chelsea target cut-price defender deal

Chelsea are targeting a cut-price summer deal for Marc Guehi.

The Blues want to strengthen their centre-back options for their return to the Champions League and a new report says they are hopeful of securing Guehi “for a reduced fee”.

Guehi is entering the final year of his contract at Crystal Palace and GiveMeSport say Chelsea “are eyeing a good value deal and are aiming to use his contract situation to their advantage”.

Chelsea sold Guehi to Palace for £18million in 2021. He has since established himself as an England regular and he captained Palace to FA glory this season.

Liverpool boost in bid to offload Nunez

Darwin Nunez could be offered a way out of Liverpool by clubs in Italy, with AC Milan and Napoli linked with the Uruguay striker.

Liverpool want to sell Nunez this summer and a fresh report in La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning claims the Reds want around £35million.

AC Milan are targeting signings for new boss Massimiliano Allegri, while Serie A champions Napoli are looking to strengthen ahead of their return to the Champions League.

West Ham want ex-Man Utd and Chelsea target

West Ham are considering a move for Gambian wonderkid Adama Bojang.

The 21-year-old Stade Reims forward has previously been linked with Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City.

Bojang spent last season on loan in Switzerland with Grasshopper Club Zurich, where he scored six goals and provided two assists in 27 appearances.

The Mirror say he is available for around £10-11m.

Arsenal are interested in RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa in a potential double swoop with Benjamin Sesko, according to fresh reports.

It is no secret the Gunners are looking to sign a new wide forward this summer and they are considering alterative options to top target Nico Williams.

Nusa has previously been linked with Tottenham and Brentford.

The 20-year-old scored five goals and provided eight assists in 40 clubs appearances for last season, having joined RB Leipzig from Club Brugge at the end of last summer transfer window.

Arsenal are plotting a clear-out of unwanted players this summer and Oleksandr Zinchenko could be allowed to leave for just £10million.

Juventus, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund have been linked with Zinchenko and CaughtOffside say Arsenal are ready to do a cut-price deal for the left-sided defender.

Arsenal are said to be prepared to part ways with Zinchenko for a fee in the region of £10-15m.

Andre Onana is set to remain Manchester United No1 next season, despite Ruben Amorim wanting a new goalkeeper and being linked with a move for Emiliano Martinez.

Reports in Argentina say United have opened talks over Martinez, who looks set to leave Aston Villa this summer.

United had anticipated bids for Onana from the Saudi Pro League and were hoping to sell him for around £35million.

Spurs agree first signing of Thomas Frank era

Tottenham have confirmed the permanent signing of Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich.

Tel becomes the first official signing of the Thomas Frank era after Spurs agreed to pay around £30m for the 20-year-old, who has agreed a six-year contract.

Tel made 20 appearances for Spurs last season after joining on loan in January, scoring three goals.

In a statement, Spurs said: “We are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Mathys Tel from FC Bayern.

“Mathys joined the Club from the Bundesliga side in February on loan until the end of the season with an option to make the move permanent. We can confirm we have agreed a deal with Bayern that will see the France Under-21 international sign a contract that will run until 2031 when his current loan deal ends on June 30.”

Tottenham are stepping up transfer moves to make new signings for Thomas Frank, with Bryan Mbeumo and Yoanne Wissa linked with a reunion with their former Brentford boss.

And now Brentford captain Christian Norgaard is the latest Bees player linked with Spurs.

Chelsea in Woltemade talks

Chelsea have held talks over a move for Stuttgart sensation Nick Woltemade as they target a new frontman in the transfer market.

The 23-year-old enjoyed a brilliant 2024-25 season, scoring 17 goals in 33 games in all competitions, and he hit a hat-trick for Germany at the European Under-21 Championship this week.

German transfer expect Christian Falk says Chelsea have been in talks Woltemade’s management team and have been “monitoring the striker for some time”.

Arsenal plot huge new Gyokeres bid

Arsenal are preparing a new bid for Viktor Gyokeres after the Sporting striker made it clear he is ready to snub a Manchester United for a “dream” move to the Gunners.

United have been in talks to sign Gyokeres but it has emerged that Arsenal is his preferred option because he wants to play in the Champions League.

And now UOL report that Arsenal are ready to make a fresh offer in excess of £60m for the Sweden hitman.

Chelsea will step up their efforts to sign Bright Ede.

According to a report from Poland, the Blues intend to sign the Motor Lublin youngster who was promoted to the first team in March and has made six appearances for them so far.

Andre Onana refused to rule out the possibility of leaving Manchester United this summer.

The goalkeeper has failed to convince since arriving at Old Trafford and there are rumours of the club looking for a replacement for next season.

Emiliano Martinez is one of those being linked, and Onana did little to end the speculation when asked by local media in Cameroon for an update on his future.

Chelsea have been linked with the Brazilian, with talk of a £50m bid, and Igor’s comments will offer them encouragement.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, and will be bad news for Arsenal who had been keen on persuading the Athletic Bilbao to make the move to north London.

Gyokeres 'officially rejects' Man Utd as Arsenal prepare second bid

Viktor Gyokeres has "officially" rejected Manchester United and a reunion with former Sporting head coach Ruben Amorim, after Arsenal reportedly made their interest clear.

That's according to Portuguese outlet Record, who report on Saturday morning that United have been made aware of Gyokeres' decision to snub a move to Old Trafford after talks with the player's agents.

With Sporting demanding at least €70million (£59.6m) to begin negotiations over a fee, Record express doubts United could afford to sign Gyokeres ahead of the likes of Arsenal.

Arsenal are now thought to be clear favourites to sign Gyokeres, though the club retain interest in Benjamin Sesko for their vacant striker spot.

The Gunners and RB Leipzig have been in talks for some time over a deal before reports of a rejected bid for Gyokeres emerged. A second bid is now reportedly incoming from Arsenal.

Rashford pushing for Barcelona

Viktor Gyokeres’ agent has added fuel to an already roaring fire as the saga surrounding the Swede continues.

Hasan Cetinkaya, the player’s agent, has claimed that there is written proof that there was an agreement between Gyokeres and Sporting that the striker could leave the club should an offer of €60million plus €10million be received.

"We have EVIDENCE in WRITING with Sporting CP promising him to let him go for €60+€10M," read Cetinkaya’s statement, via Swedish outlet Aftonbladet.

Liverpool and Chelsea have both been heavily linked with Ekitike as well as a host of other suitors from the continent, though Old Trafford could yet be his next destination.

Liverpool are booking a medical for Florian Wirtz after agreeing a stunning £116million deal with Bayer Leverkusen.

The Reds had been locked in talks with Leverkusen for weeks over a club-record deal that would see him quickly reunite with Jeremie Frimpong at Anfield.

After numerous hefty bids were rejected during the course of lengthy negotiations, it seems that Liverpool have their man at long last.

If those bonuses are met, it would overtake Chelsea’s £115m deal with Brighton for Moises Caicedo in the summer of 2023 as the most expensive transfer in the history of British football.
