Arsenal have kicked fully into gear as they look up wrap up three deals this week. Kepa Arrizabalaga has completed a medical ahead of a £5million move from Chelsea, and Brentford captain Christian Norgaard will soon follow for around £10m. Talks have also begun over a deal for Valencia centre-back Cristhian Mosquera amid ongoing interest in Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres and Eberechi Eze.
Chelsea are also working on a key target as they make progress over a deal for Jamie Gittens as Borussia Dortmund hold out for a £50m fee having also looked back into a possible deal for Alejandro Garnacho and been linked with Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Milos Kerkez and are now plotting a stunning bid for Alexander Isak as Darwin Nunez heads for the exit.
Manchester United are closing in on Bryan Mbeumo, as the Bees hold out for £63m. Tottenham are expected to make a move for main target Eberechi Eze, amid interest in Antoine Semenyo, as Kota Takai prepares to join. Follow the latest transfer news, gossip and rumours live below!

Branthwaite in advanced talks over Everton extension
11:39 , Alex YoungJarrad Branthwaite is closing in on a new contract with Everton.
According to Everton insider The Bobble, negotiations between club and players are advancing.
Branthwaite’s current deal runs until 2027 and the club are keen to tie down one of their most valuable assets to longer terms.
Manchester United have previously shown interest in Branthwaite, while Tottenham have recently been linked.

BREAKING NEWS: Heaton signs new Man Utd contract
10:19 , Alex YoungMore breaking news as Manchester United have confirmed that Tom Heaton has signed a new one-year contract.
Heaton returned to the club in 2021, having previously come through the academy, but has not played since a League Cup outing two seasons ago.
The goalkeeper will now be tied to United beyond his 40th birthday.
Heaton said: "I am extremely proud to continue to represent Manchester United. As a group, we are all really excited for the season ahead.
“I am ready to support the team in every capacity as we prepare to get back to challenging for the biggest honours.”

BREAKING NEWS: Leicester sack Van Nistelrooy

Werner heading Stateside

As first reported by The Athletic, the two clubs are in talks.
Werner spent last season on loan at Tottenham and played a bit-part role. His Leipzig contract expires in 2026.

Arsenal to rival Atletico Madrid for Carlos Augusto

Newcastle stand firm over Liverpool target Isak

He said: "Newcastle have no intention of selling Isak whatsoever, and want to renew his contract. They’re in a strong position with over three years remaining on his current deal, as part of which he is already paid well.
“They’ll have no problem offering more, too - he’s at the centre of that ambitious Saudi-led project.
"From the player’s point of view, he has top level football secured with Newcastle’s qualification for next season’s Champions League, and he won the club their first trophy in a long time. He looks to be happy - always with a smile on his face.

Gyokeres U-turn

Chelsea set to clinch Gittens deal

The Borussia Dortmund winger has been the top target at Stamford Bridge since they made an early summer move to land Liam Delap from Ipswich.
Having failed to clinch the signing of Gittens prior to the Club World Cup, talks have continued over in the United States.
According to ESPN, Chelsea are now close to signing Gittens, though will still have to pay a fee in excess of £50m for the England Under-21 international.

Norgaard set for Arsenal medical

The Gunners have moved quickly for Norgaard, tabling a £9.3million bid on Wednesday, and Brentford are prepared to accept the midfielder’s desire to play Champions League football.
Personal terms have already been agreed and a medical scheduled, with Norgaard set to replace Jorginho, who has departed for Flamengo, and Thomas Partey, whose Arsenal contract is due to expire at the end of the month.

Brentford pushing for £63m Bryan Mbeumo fee
06:42 , Alex YoungBrentford remain hopeful of securing a fee in the region of £63million for Bryan Mbeumo in an attempt to eclipse what Manchester United paid for Matheus Cunha, writes Sam Tabuteau.
As Standard Sport reported earlier this week, United will pay an up-front fee of £55m for Mbeumo. However, the two clubs remain locked in negotiations over the size and achievability of the add-ons included in the deal.
Talks have taken place this week over the nature of those add-ons, with Brentford wanting more than £7m in order to take them past the fee Wolves will receive for Brazilian forward Cunha.

Arsenal make contact for Mosquera transfer

Tottenham stand firm on Romero sale

That is according to the Telegraph who claim Spurs are determined to not be bullied into selling the Argentina international for a cut-price fee amid interest from Atletico Madrid.

Arsenal in for Eze

The England international has a release clause of around £68m in his contract at Selhurst Park and is also being linked with a move to the Gunners’ north London rivals Tottenham.
With that said, it is unclear as to whether Eze is a top target for the Gunners or backup in case they can’t finalise a deal for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo.
