Arsenal willing to wait for Rodyrgo
08:19 , Matt VerriArsenal fans could have to be patient over the next couple of months.
The club are keen to strengthen up front and on the left wing, but nothing is believed to be imminent in terms of arrivals in attack.
The Mirror report that Arsenal do have real interest in Rodrygo, though Real Madrid will demand at least £70m.
However, it’s claimed that the Gunners feel Real’s stance could soften as the summer goes on, and so it could prove to be a waiting game.

Three clubs interested in Sancho
07:55 , Matt VerriThe battle to sign Jadon Sancho is heating up, in what will be a relief to Manchester United.
Chelsea paid £5m to get out of their obligation to sign the winger on a permanent deal, and United are now trying to find a club to take Sancho off their hands.
Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu reports that Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce have now made an enquiry.
However, Napoli and Juventus are also interested in Sancho and could prove to be more appealing options.

Gundogan plays down transfer talk
07:43 , Matt VerriIlkay Gundogan has dismissed the possibility of him leaving Manchester City this summer.
The midfielder is reportedly a target for Galatasaray, who are willing to offer him a two-year contract with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
However, speaking after scoring twice in Man City’s 6-0 win over Al Ain last night, Gundogan provided an update on his future.
“I have a one year contract,” he said.
“And I'm very happy here. I think everyone knows that. And I am committed to the competition.”

Garnacho sending message?
07:25 , Matt VerriAlejandro Garnacho took to social media to post a picture of him wearing an Aston Villa shirt with Marcus Rashford’s name on the back.
Garnacho has been told by Ruben Amorim to find a new club this summer, with the Manchester United boss making it clear the winger is not in his plans.
It is a similar situation for Rashford, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Villa and appears to have no future at Old Trafford.
Garnacho’s latest post would appear to be further evidence that a summer move is inevitable.
Man United face Kean deadline
07:00 , Matt VerriManchester United are keen on former Everton striker Moise Kean.
The italian is now at Fiorentina and is attracting the attention of United, who appear increasingly unlikely to sign Viktor Gyokeres, who had been among their top targets.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that United have turned their attention to Kean, despite Fiorentina being reluctant to sell.
United’s cause is helped by a £44.5m release clause in the 25-year-old’s contract, which is active from July 1 to July 15.

Bayern consider Gittens hijack
06:41 , Matt VerriBayern Munich are pondering whether to hijack Chelsea’s move for Jamie Gittens.
The Blues tried to sign the Borussia Dortmund winger before the Club World Cup and had a £42m bid rejected, but are expected to return with an improved bid later this summer.
Kicker, though, claim that Bayern are also interested in Gittens and could rival Chelsea.
It’s reported that Cody Gakpo and Bradley Barcola are also being considered, but PSG are unlikely to sell Barcola and Bayern would prefer not to pay Liverpool a huge fee after missing out on Florian Wirtz.

Arsenal could give up on Sesko
06:31 , Matt VerriArsenal’s pursuit of Benjamin Sesko is in danger of coming to an end.
The RB Leipzig striker is believed to be top of the wishlist for the Gunners, who are determined to strengthen in attack this summer.
However, while Arsenal are ready to pay the £70m asing price, The Mirror report that they are growing frustrated with Sesko’s wage demands.
Reaching an agreement has proved difficult so far and Arsenal are considering turning to Viktor Gyokeres instead.

Sunday 22 June 2025 22:54 , Oli GentBayern Munich are persisting with their pursuit of Nico Williams.

Kudus rumours set to rumble on
Friday 20 June 2025 14:41 , Matt VerriMohammed Kudus’ future at West Ham remains in doubt, with club captain Jarrod Bowen the only player definitely not for sale this summer.
Much could be decided at the beginning of next month. Kudus has a 10-day release clause which comes into effect on July 1 and runs until July 10.
During that time, he can be bought out of his West Ham contract by European clubs for £80million, Premier League rivals for £85m or Saudi sides for £120m. That could be when interest in the forward intensifies even more.
Though Kudus scored and assisted a handful of times each last season, for long periods he appeared isolated and uninvolved.
His employers doubtless took note — if not actively concerned by his drop-off in output from the previous season then certainly more willing to at least consider his sale, especially if that means alleviating the club from what is effectively a sell-to-buy policy.
If West Ham are banking on any player sale bumping up the coughers this summer, it is Kudus, who is believed to be keen on moving on, though he would not force through an exit.
Whether he and West Ham do part ways remains to be seen, but one thing is absolutely guaranteed. Those Kudus transfer rumours are not going away. They could rumble on and on all summer.
