LIVE – Updated at 12:09
The summer window is back open for business as the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool all scramble to get more major signings over the line. Arsenal have received another new update on Benjamin Sesko, while Viktor Gyokeres is reportedly willing to go on strike to force his own transfer. However, they are likely to miss out on both Rodrygo and Nico Williams, while Thomas Partey also looks set to exit this month.
Chelsea are in talks with all of Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro and Mohammed Kudus, having also made contact over Malick Fofana and Hugo Ekitike. Liverpool will finally welcome Florian Wirtz today for his medical as they look to close an agreement for Milos Kerkez and plot an audacious bid for Alexander Isak. Manchester United are still pushing to land Bryan Mbeumo and also have interest in Ekitike, as well as Victor Osimhen.
Tottenham are now believed to have withdrawn their interest in Mbeumo as they target Eberechi Eze instead, while Leeds have seen a huge offer for Rodrigo Muniz rejected by Fulham, who are eyeing Ricardo Pepi. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

Thomas Partey set for Arsenal exit
12:02 , George FloodIt looks like Thomas Partey will indeed be leaving Arsenal this month.
Earlier we brought you those reports that talks between the club and their Ghanaian midfielder over an extension to his expiring contract were not advancing.
Now ESPN claim that, with negotiations at a “standstill”, Partey is not expected to re-sign and that he is expected to leave Arsenal when his deal runs out on June 30.
The 32-year-old is said to have interest from Barcelona and clubs in Turkey.

Chelsea in talks over Gittens, Pedro and Kudus
11:51 , George FloodBorussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens is intent on joining Chelsea this summer and is expected to move to Stamford Bridge if the two clubs can agree a transfer fee, writes Dom Smith.
Gittens has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea, but a move was not finalised during the first summer transfer window after Dortmund rejected the Blues’ £42million bid.
The second window is now open, and Standard Sport understands that Chelsea’s priority remains Gittens, who also views Stamford Bridge as his preferred next destination.

Partey edging closer to Arsenal exit
10:50 , George FloodThomas Partey could well be leaving Arsenal this month.
The Ghanaian midfielder is out of contract in north London at the end of June and has yet to agree an extension.
Barcelona are among the clubs said to be interested in signing Partey, who managed to stay injury-free this season and play a key role for Arsenal in 52 appearances across all competitions.
According to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations over a new deal at Arsenal are not advancing.
He says there could be chances for Partey to leave on a free transfer in the coming days.

Tottenham target Eze as Son replacement
10:03 , George FloodTottenham are keen on a deal for Eberechi Eze this summer, reports claim.
The England midfielder has been linked with Spurs plenty in the past, but the trail had gone somewhat cold over recent months.
However, TBR Football now report that Tottenham are back in for Crystal Palace’s FA Cup-winning star after the arrival of Thomas Frank, who is said to be a big fan and wants to use him as a replacement for potentially outgoing captain Heung-min Son.
They also say that Spurs are not yet out of the running for Manchester United target Bryan Mbeumo at Brentford.

Wirtz wages revealed before Liverpool medical
09:18 , George FloodIt seems that Liverpool won’t be smashing their wage structure with regards to Florian Wirtz.
The Germany star is finally poised to arrive on Merseyside today to undergo a medical and sign a five-year contract ahead of completing a mammoth move worth a potential British record £116m.
However, it appears that some reports regarding the huge sums Wirtz will earn at Anfield are wide of the mark.
Fabrizio Romano insists his weekly wage will be around £200,000, a very nice sum indeed but not outside of their current structure.

Nico Williams agrees Barcelona deal
08:49 , George FloodIt looks like Arsenal have lost out to Barcelona on Nico Williams.
The Athletic Club and Spain star had been among the top targets for the Gunners as they seek a new winger as well as a striker this summer.
However, it was reported last week that Barcelona and Bayern Munich had become more likely next destinations for Williams if he were to leave San Mames in this window.
Fabrizio Romano now reports that the 22-year-old has agreed a six-year contract with Barca until 2031 worth around €7m/€8m per season.
The Catalans are said to remain working on an agreement over a transfer fee with Athletic.

Sesko to Arsenal latest
08:13Arsenal have not yet agreed a deal for Benjamin Sesko it would appear.
It seemed like the Gunners were finally getting closer to signing their top striker target after weeks of negotiations, having been said to have settled on personal terms.
However, Sky Germany insist there remains no agreement between the clubs, with RB Leipzig said to be demanding a fee of up to £85m for Sesko.

Liverpool plot record Isak bid after Wirtz deal
07:49 , George FloodFlorian Wirtz might not stay as Liverpool’s record signing for very long.
The Reds evidently have grand plans for the future after winning the Premier League title in Arne Slot’s first season and would reportedly love to make headlines again by bringing in Alexander Isak.
GiveMeSport claim that Liverpool refuse to give up on the Newcastle striker - a long-term target for Arsenal - and are prepared to make another massive bid to smash the British transfer record for the second time in quick succession.
Isak is said to be Liverpool’s “dream target” as they plot an offer worth over £100m with add-ons, though they apparently acknowledge that such a deal will be difficult to pull off.
An exit for Darwin Nunez could reportedly help fund a move for Isak, while they add that Milos Kerkez will also arrive at Anfield next week.

Wirtz to complete Liverpool medical in 48 hours
07:27 , George FloodGet excited, Liverpool fans.
Confirmation is now arriving across the board this morning that Florian Wirtz is indeed travelling to Merseyside today at last.

Liverpool will then unveil their club-record signing.
Milos Kerkez next?

Man Utd boost as Tottenham exit Mbeumo race
07:09 , George FloodManchester United look to have been handed a huge new boost over Bryan Mbeumo.
The Cameroon international has become the major focus of transfer operations at Old Trafford following the early £62.5m summer deal for Wolves forward Matheus Cunha.
United are trying to close a deal with Brentford after seeing an opening bid worth a total of around £55m including add-ons rejected, though appeared to face a major new threat from Tottenham after they appointed Thomas Frank as their new manager.
However, journalist Rudy Galetti is among those to now report that Spurs have conceded defeat and withdrawn from the race for Mbeumo, who seemingly has only ever had eyes for United.

Florian Wirtz to undergo Liverpool medical today
06:57It’s Florian Wirtz day for Liverpool at long last.
The Reds have been patiently waiting for the arrival of the German forward after finally clinching a deal with Bayer Leverkusen last week that could be worth a British record £116m.
Wirtz has been on holiday since Germany’s recent appearance in the Nations League finals on home soil, pictured earlier this week with fellow Liverpool recruit from Leverkusen Jeremie Frimpong.
Sky Germany report that the 22-year-old will arrive on Merseyside today to undergo the first part of his medical, with the second stage to come on Friday.
He will sign a five-year contract until 2030 worth a cool £17.1m gross per season.

Chelsea in talks over Joao Pedro, Gittens and Kudus deals
06:51 , George FloodChelsea have their eye on all of Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Mohammed Kudus with the summer transfer window now back open, reports claim.
The Blues failed to close a deal with Borussia Dortmund for England Under-21 winger Gittens before last week’s initial pre-Club World Cup deadline, while they have also been strongly linked to West Ham forward Kudus and Pedro at Brighton.
News of Chelsea making contact over Pedro - strongly courted by Newcastle for around £60m - comes from Fabrizio Romano, while The Guardian claim that they are prioritising Gittens as their top target but have also held further talks over Kudus and Pedro.
They are also said to be interested in Lyon’s Malick Fofana - more on him in a moment - in addition to Hugo Ekitike and Xavi Simons.

Sesko transfer twist as Arsenal sent new message
06:44 , George FloodAnother day, another new twist on the Benjamin Sesko to Arsenal transfer front.
The Gunners have been pushing for weeks now to strike a deal with RB Leipzig for the Slovenian striker and yesterday it was suggested that they had agreed personal terms.
It has since been claimed that Sesko’s camp are trying to force Leipzig into lowering their asking price this summer - an accusation strongly refuted by the player’s agent.
“This is far from truth,” Elvis Basanovic told GiveMeSport.
“We respect RB Leipzig and I am 100 per cent convinced RB Leipzig will also respect our decision for the next step when we decide to do it.
“Even if there may be – or will be – a strong desire of the player to move to a certain club, we will never force or blackmail RB Leipzig.
“I believe this is not the right way, because the way you actually exit from the club shows your values. Values that you are bringing into a new club
“I can understand in very big transfers, there are a lot of different interests but no matter what, I believe in football world should be more respect.
“So that’s why we do things in the right way or we don’t do them. It’s very simple, even maybe in the media it looks very complicated.”
He added that Sesko would only move when they “recognise a special club, a special project with a special coach”, insisting that a transfer could happen “next week… or next year, or in three years.”

He is out of contract at the end of next season, and does not want to play for another Premier League side out of respect for Liverpool and its supporters.

“It was a conversation between [Grealish] and the club and they decide. Jack is an exceptional player, the only reason why he didn’t play last season is of course my decisions, and we decide that he has to play - and the club was honest, he was honest.
“We decide the best is that he has a place that he can feel he can play and come back to be the player that he was in the year of the treble or all his career at Aston Villa; without him it would have been impossible or more difficult to achieve the treble.
“The fact is the last two seasons he hasn’t played much minutes and he has to come back to play and get the butterflies back in his stomach that he can play every three days and show again the quality that he has.”
