Napoli have rejected Al Hilal's opening offer for Victor Osimhen.

Sky Sports say the Serie A champions have told the Saudi Pro League to pay Osimhen's release clause of around £63m.

Al Hilal make Osimhen bid

Well, this is interesting.

Al Hilal have submitted an official bid to Napoli for Victor Osimhen, Fabrizio Romano reports.

The Nigeria international is coming off a fine season on loan at Galatasaray and had been linked with a move to the Premier League.

However, it would appear he could be set for a move to Saudi Arabia.

Apparently, the proposal worth €65m (£54m) plus €5m (£4.2m) in add-ons.

Nico Williams update

Athletic Club president Jon Uriarte says Arsenal and Chelsea target Nico Williams is 'part of the project' at San Mames.

Uriarte said: "I believe we have a winning and interesting project for everyone, and Nico is part of that project, just like many other players.

"The project becomes easier if we keep our players - and I believe Nico and the rest of the squad have a very exciting year ahead."

Gyokeres open to Man Utd transfer

Viktor Gyokeres is open to a reunion with Ruben Amorim at Manchester United,

The Sweden international has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer following two sensational seasons with Sporting CP.

Despite links to Arsenal, Gyokeres is willing to complete a move to Man Utd even though the club cannot offer him Champions League football.

According to talkSPORT, the hope is that Gyokeres - who shone under Amorim previously, can replicate such form at Old Trafford if they can strike a deal with Sporting amid their £60million asking price.

Tierney message

Yesterday it was confirmed that Kieran Tierney will leave Arsenal when his contract expires at the end of the month.

The Scot arrived in north London from Celtic in the summer of 2019 and quickly established himself as an automatic pick and a firm fan favourite.

However, injuries and a new tactical set-up saw the left-back phased out before enjoying a farewell season, scoring on his final ever appearance for the Gunners.

Tierney’s parting gift is a message to Arsenal supporters everywhere: “Just thank you for everything from day one. They supported us through the good times and the bad, and they supported me through some hard times as well.

“I think that's what I'm most grateful for, the times where it wasn't so good or so easy for me is when they probably supported me most, so I'm just very grateful and I feel very lucky to have the support from them.

“I feel so lucky that I've played for this club and the love that the supporters have given me has been amazing. I've loved every day here and I've learned so much, I've improved so much and I just feel very lucky.”

Man City book medicals for Rayan Ait-Nouri and Tijjani Reijnders

Manchester City are certainly wasting no time in the transfer market this summer with the Club World Cup approaching fast.

Having pulled out of the race for Florian Wirtz last month, they have quickly focused their attentions elsewhere with as many as three impressive new arrivals on the way.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Wolves left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri will undergo a medical at City on Saturday, followed swiftly by AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders on Sunday.

City have also agreed personal terms with Rayan Cherki and are now trying to close a deal with Lyon for the former Liverpool target.

Arsenal in advanced talks to hire Matteo Tognozzi

It’s not just on the pitch that Arsenal look set to strengthen this summer.

The Gunners also look poised to bolster their backroom and recruitment teams following the arrival of Andrea Berta as Edu’s full-time successor as sporting director in March.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are now in advanced talks to bring aboard former Juventus head of scouting Matteo Tognozzi.

The Italian has been working in Spain with Granada and had been tipped to potentially return to Juve as sporting director after the appointment of Damien Comolli as general manager and the departure of Cristiano Giuntoli.

It would seem that Morgan Rogers is not the only new name on Arsenal’s transfer shortlist this summer.

The Gunners are known to be looking for multiple new additions in attack to supplement the arrival of a top striker, potentially Benjamin Sesko or Viktor Gyokeres.

The Times also say that Arsenal are now looking at Feyenoord’s Brazilian forward Igor Paixao.

The 24-year-old is said to be seen as a cheaper alternative to the likes of Nico Williams and Leroy Sane.

Arsenal ponder huge move for Morgan Rogers

Arsenal are pondering a potential summer move for Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers, per new reports.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed an outstanding breakthrough season under Unai Emery, playing in the Champions League as he scored 14 goals and provided 15 assists in 54 total appearances across all competitions.

Rogers also broke into the senior England squad and has earned four caps so far.

According to The Times, the former West Brom, Manchester City and Middlesbrough youngster has now been added to Arsenal’s list of potential attacking targets for the summer.

However, the report adds that the Gunners would have to pay a “significant” transfer fee in order to land a player who only signed a new six-year contract at Villa Park in November.

Al-Nassr plot £71.5m Luis Diaz bid after Barcelona rebuffed

Liverpool’s resolve to keep Luis Diaz at Anfield this summer looks set to be tested further very soon.

Earlier today came the news that the Premier League champions had rebuffed Barcelona’s approach for their versatile Colombian forward.

But according to journalist Ben Jacobs, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr are now preparing to tempt Liverpool into a sale by offering €85m (£71.5m) for Diaz, who is said to be open to moving on.

Who is Konstantinos Karetsas? Arsenal 'close to deal' for Greek Messi

Konstantinos Karetsas is still only 17, but he has already earned the nickname of ‘The Greek Messi’.

The Genk attacking midfielder has also drawn comparisons to Martin Odegaard, not least because he was just 15 when he made his professional debut.

Liverpool reject Barcelona approach for Luis Diaz

Liverpool have rebuffed Barcelona’s approach for Luis Diaz, according to reports this morning.

The Colombian forward’s future at Anfield has become subject to doubt this summer amid interest from both LaLiga and Saudi Arabia, where’s he on the shortlist to potentially join Sadio Mane at Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr.

Barcelona have now made their move for Diaz, but The Times report that their approach has b been dismissed by Liverpool, who want to keep hold of him after their Premier League title success.

The Blaugrana may now try their luck with Manchester United and Marcus Rashford instead.

Arsenal confirm Nuno Tavares exit

Arsenal have confirmed that Nuno Tavares has completed a permanent transfer to Lazio, writes Simon Collings.

Tavares spent last season on loan at Lazio and Arsenal will bank between £6-7m after the Serie A club actived an option to buy the 25-year-old left-sided defender.

Reports in Italy have claimed that Lazio may look to instantly sell Tavares in the hope they can make a quick profit on him.

Chelsea confirm Liam Delap squad number

Liam Delap’s squad number at Chelsea has now been confirmed.

After weeks of transfer speculation, the England Under-21 striker’s move to Stamford Bridge was finally announced on Wednesday night.

Delap has signed a six-year contract at Chelsea until 2031 after the Conference League winners triggered the £30million release clause in his Ipswich deal that became active after their relegation from the Premier League this season.

Arsenal close to shock deal for Konstantinos Karetsas

Arsenal are said to be closing in on a shock deal for Konstantinos Karetsas.

The 17-year-old midfielder has established a firm reputation as one of the most exciting young talents in European football after starring for both Greece and in Belgium with Genk this season.

There is plenty of transfer interest in Karetas this summer from across the continent and according to new reports from Greece, Arsenal are in advanced talks and close to agreeing a deal worth approximately £38m, beating the likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid, AC Milan RB Leipzig and Ajax in the process.

The transfer would apparently see Karetas return to Genk on loan next season before moving to north London permanently in the summer of 2026.

Newcastle confirm deal for Antonio Cordero

Newcastle have confirmed the summer signing of Antonio Cordero.

The highly-rated 18-year-old winger will head to St James’ Park on July 1, after his current contract at Malaga expires.

“It's truly an honour to be here, truly a pleasure,” said the Spain Under-19 international, known as Antonito.

“I am a person who likes to aspire high. Why not come to one of the best places in the world to do it.

“It's a big step, and that's one of the reasons I'm here. I'm happy to do it and have a great desire to get going already.”

Man Utd interested in Emi Martinez deal

Manchester United are renewing their interest in Emiliano Martinez, according to new reports.

The former Arsenal goalkeeper could well leave Aston Villa this summer having been strongly linked with a move to Saudi Arabia over recent months.

However, another switch within the Premier League now looks a possibility, with TYC Sports in Argentina claiming that United are once again interested in Martinez.

They claim that the Red Devils actually made initial contact over potentially sealing a deal for the World Cup winner back during the January transfer window.

Rangers appoint Russell Martin as new manager

Rangers have officially now appointed Russell Martin as their new manager.

The former Scotland international defender has signed a three-year contract at Ibrox as the permanent successor to Philippe Clement, who was sacked back in February as club legend Barry Ferguson was placed in interim charge.

Steven Gerrard had been linked with a sensational return to Rangers in addition to the likes of Carlo Ancelotti’s son Davide, but it’s former MK Dons and Swansea boss Martin who has got the job, having been out of work since being sacked by Southampton in December after their Premier League promotion quickly turned into a nightmare.

Manchester United must increase their offer for new top target Bryan Mbeumo.

Reports emerged last night that the Reds had tabled an opening bid for the Cameroon forward worth an initial £45m plus a further £10m in add-ons.

However, that number was said to fall below Brentford’s valuation of Mbeumo as negotiations continue between the two clubs.

Now The Telegraph report that United will need to move beyond the £60m mark with their next offer for the 25-year-old, who scored 20 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions this season.

Liverpool on verge of clinching Milos Kerkez deal

Liverpool appear on the verge of sealing a deal for Milos Kerkez.

Amid their ongoing pursuit of Florian Wirtz and having already replaced the Real Madrid-bound Trent Alexander-Arnold with Jeremie Frimpong on the right side of defence, they are now prioritising a long-term successor to Andy Robertson at left-back.

Kerkez has been their top target in that regard, with talks having been ongoing with Bournemouth for a while.

According to TEAMtalk, the Reds are now on the verge of clinching a £50m deal for the Hungarian international, who will join compatriot and close friend Dominik Szoboszlai at Anfield.

The two clubs are said to be ironing out the final details of the transfer, with Kostas Tsimikas expected to be sold after Kerkez’s arrival.

Chelsea in talks over signing Hugo Ekitike

Chelsea are said to be in talks to sign another new striker in Hugo Ekitike.

On Wednesday night the Blues finally announced the arrival of Liam Delap, having triggered the England Under-21 international’s £30m relegation release clause at Ipswich.

But the Conference League winners evidently want more firepower in soon ahead of this month’s Club World Cup.

According to Sky Germany, Chelsea have now made initial contact with Eintracht Frankfurt over Ekitike, who is also wanted by Liverpool.

However, they will apparently have to pay a huge fee of €100m in order to make a deal happen.

Florian Wirtz agrees huge Liverpool deal

Liverpool are expected to reach an agreement over the blockbuster signing of Florian Wirtz soon, reports claim.

So far the Reds have seen two substantial offers for the German forward rejected by Bayer Leverkusen, the second totalling a club-record £109m including add-ons and bonuses.

Leverkusen are said to be holding out for around £125m for their top asset, while there were rumours that they were looking to also receive either Jarell Quansah or Harvey Elliott as part of the deal.

According to German outlet BILD, Wirtz has already agreed a bumper five-year contract at Anfield that will pay him in the region of £200,000 a week.

The 22-year-old played and scored for Germany in their home Nations League semi-final defeat by Portugal in Munich last night.

Manchester United look to be ramping up their pursuit of Viktor Gyokeres.

Ruben Amorim is believed to be keen to reunite with the prolific Swedish international at Old Trafford having previously coached him at Sporting Lisbon.

As well as launching their first bid for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, GiveMeSport claim that they have also now made informal contact to see if a deal for Gyokeres could be possible this summer after Chelsea beat them to the £30m capture of Liam Delap.

Arsenal also remain heavily linked with Gyokeres, who it is believed could be available for around £59m.

Man Utd launch £55m Bryan Mbeumo bid

Manchester United are pressing ahead with their move for Bryan Mbeumo.

The Cameroon forward has become Ruben Amorim’s new priority transfer target this summer after sealing the £62.5m signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves and missing out to Chelsea on Liam Delap.

It was reported earlier this week that Old Trafford was the preferred next destination for Mbeumo, who has also attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle.

Talks with Brentford have begun, with David Ornstein of The Athletic reporting that United have now tabled their opening offer worth an initial £45m plus a further £10m in add-ons.

However, that is said to be way below what the Bees are looking for and will be rejected as negotiations continue.

It is believed that Mbeumo will be looking for a deal in the £250,000 a week range at United, having been earning around £50,000 a week at Brentford.

Arsenal want Antoine Semenyo deal

Antoine Semenyo has emerged as a surprise new transfer target for Arsenal.

The Gunners are on the hunt for attacking reinforcements this summer and have reportedly been in pursuit of Benjamin Sesko in recent days, while plenty of rumours still persist over the likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Leroy Sane and Ollie Watkins.

According to GiveMeSport, Arsenal are also interested in Semenyo, the Bournemouth forward who is on Manchester United’s radar.

It is believed that clubs who want the Ghana international will have to bid in excess of £50m as Bournemouth also battle interest in Illia Zabarnyi with Milos Kerkez on his way to Liverpool and Dean Huijsen having joined Real Madrid.
